              Stallholder Information

​

If you have a dog-related business and would like to be part of Dogs on the Green, please get in touch! 

We love supporting local small businesses and our event is a great way to get out there and meet your customers, especially if you are online based with no store front. 

Many of our stall holders use the markets as an opportunity to fill up their pre-order books for the coming months and to say Hi to their repeat clientele.

​

 

- We aim to hold four events each year. They are held on the oval at Benowa State Primary School, Benowa Road, Ashmore.  The next event will be announced in early 2025. It will be a Sunday with public opening hours 8.30AM to 1PM.

​

- We are one of the only markets on the Gold Coast that allow you to park 1 car directly behind your stall for the day. Onsite overflow parking for your staff/helpers is available, but they must be onsite by 8.15am. 

​

-There is NO customer entry fee OR parking fee for parking in the school carparks (limited) and in the surrounding streets.

​

-You are required to have your own current Public Liability Insurance (minimum $10M cover- its about $40 per day, or $150 per year depending on your provider- do a quick Google Search)

​

-3x3m or 6x3m sites

​

-Limited powered sites available on application (10amp). Your leads must be tagged and tested to plug into our site network. BYO generators are not permitted. Extra $15 per site for powered.

​

-Food/drink vans are welcomed- please email us with your menu and site requirements including size.

10 amp/ 15 amp power supplied x2 outlets.

Or BYO Generator (no discount). Quiet inverter types only. Open style noisy generators are strictly prohibited.

Your setup must have - Current Council issued Mobile Food Business License, public liability certificate, electrical tag and test, fire safety equipment- minimum 2kg extinguisher and/or fire blanket.

-Rescue/ charity groups- please message us for a stall fee waiver (free site- limited number available).

​

-Water hose available. BYO container.

​

-Tent pegs into the grass are fine, or bring weights (pre-filled with sand to save you valuable bump in time).

​

-Stallholder waste, including cardboard boxes, are to go into the onsite landfill/ recycling skips, not the customer red bins.

-Onsite security, first aid and vet

Sites are available on a first-come first-served basis and sell out very quickly. 

Bookings will open approximately 8 weeks before each event.  

 

Booking process - New stall Holders welcome!

1. Please email us to obtain a booking application login- hello@dogsonthegreen.com (NO .au): Subject "EOI - your business name"

We need to know your site requirements, stall size, power/no power, what you are selling, if you have "done" markets before, and a little bit about your business. Please also attach a pic of any previous site setups and your unique products. Feel free to send us dog pics too. We love those.

2. If successful, we will email an invitation with a password to access the secure vendor login section of this site

3. Login, select your site type and size, pay the stall fee with credit card. 

4. We will send through a confirmation/reply email within 48hrs.

5. Bump in/ vendor manual details sent through a week before  the markets

6. Turn up on the day ready to go with your raffle donation ready to go, and a big smile, and Market staff will guide you to your stall site (advised on the day). 

7. Vehicles are not permitted to leave before 1pm while we have customers onsite for safety reasons.

WARNING TO NON-STALLHOLDER BUSINESSES: 

You are strictly forbidden from attending the market and promoting your business in any way, shape, or form - including handing out flyers, business cards, free samples etc. 

This also applies to breeders attending with the intention of promoting their puppies for sale.  

​

Anybody attending the market in their business branded clothing, or advertising puppies for sale, will be immediately asked to leave the property by security.
