​WHERE: Fisherman's Lawn, Broadwater Parklands, CNR Marine Parade and Smith St, Southport.

Dog friendly (must be on leash and sociable). Please bring poo bags. Doggie water and bubblers available.
No dogs in the playgrounds or swimming areas please (local bylaws).
There are KM's of sandy beach areas to walk and play throughout the Broadwater Parklands, including an amazing quiet park area in front of the Broadwater Tourist Park, 2 minutes walk from the markets.

Off lead? Please keep your pup on lead- there are no off leash play areas in the Parklands as there are heaps of people, children, and other less social dogs around who may need space.
What's there? 70+ stalls including rescue groups, treats, clothing, accessories, skincare, meals, cakes, artists, photography, wellness, therapies, and lots more!
Please bring CASH to support our vendors with quick service and avoid any card surcharges.
Delicious food and coffee vans will be on site. Bring a blanket or picnic set and relax a while with some amazing, fresh, street food, and a few yummy treats for your pup.

Animal Management team onsite for free information about pet ownership and registration, breeding, dog parks, complaints etc.

Paid parking is available on site (~ $2.80 per hour), with lots more spaces near the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, Nind St (~500m walk) and in the surrounding streets of Southport CBD.
Please park safely and responsibly and do not park in the boat trailer bays- even for 5 minutes- or City Parking will issue you with a ticket!

Free street parking is a 5 minute walk across the GC Highway pedestrian footbridge from Marine Pde Labrador, or you could try around Stevens St, Southport.
Disabled parking is located outside the Sport Fishing Club, next to the markets entry. ​

There are plenty of free and paid activities at the Broadwater Parklands.

There are bouncy castles, adventure playgrounds, boat and kayak hire, outdoor gyms, fishing piers and over 5km of walking paths to enjoy your time after the markets.

General Terms and Conditions of Entry to Dogs on the Green​

Entry and onsite parking is at your own risk. No responsibility is taken for loss or damage to personal items.

Children must be actively supervised at all times.

Always ask permission from the person holding the lead before patting someone's dog.

Your Dog must be social, on lead, and under effective control at all times. Always pick up after your dog and use bins provided. The owner is responsible for all actions of the dog(s).

Be nice. We have a zero tolerance policy for abusive, criminal or antisocial behaviour. We may remove or evict you from the event area if staff or security have a reasonable belief that you may, or have, disrupted the safety or peaceful enjoyment of the event by others, or are in breach of the terms and conditions of entry.

Distribution of any promotional material, spruiking customers or wearing company uniforms with the intention of promoting sales without written consent of the Organisers is not permitted.

Photos taken of you and/or your dog(s) at the markets by Market Staff may be used for marketing or promotional material without compensation in any and all media. If you do not want to be photographed, please advise staff at the time.

The Market site is completely smoke and vape free.

Glass and open alcohol is not permitted onsite.

$5 Raffle in support of rescue groups!

Every year we raise thousands of dollars for Rescue groups and Dog charities through our raffles.
Our July Charity partner is: Best Friends Animal Rescue. Their volunteer team does amazing work saving abandoned and unwanted dogs from euthanasia and relies completely on donations. Please check out the link below to assist as a foster carer!

5+ raffle prize packs are donated by our awesome vendors, worth around $400 each, which will be drawn at 12.30pm on the day. The winners are contacted by phone call and the winning tickets are posted on our Facebook.
Post event pickup/ local delivery can be arranged.
$5 each, 3 for $10, 7 for $20​

Our March markets raised $869.25 for Little Legs Dog and Cat Rescue Inc.
Our May markets raised $830.00 for QLD Staffy and Amstaff Rescue.
